As a youth services leader, my career is dedicated to helping young adults realize their full potential through affordable housing, life skills and personal development programming, and mentorship.
My commitment to serving young adults is rooted in personal experience. As a youth, I faced a period of homelessness that could have derailed my life. However, through the intervention and support of an older mentor, I was able to get back on my feet, return to school and university, and build a rewarding career and life. That experience taught me that young people possess untapped potential, and that the right support at the right time can change the trajectory of a life.
Having experienced housing instability firsthand, I understand that stable housing is the foundation upon which young people can build their futures. My work emphasizes creating accessible housing solutions that provide young adults with the security they need to thrive.
Through targeted personal development programming, I work to equip young people with the skills, confidence, and self-awareness they need to navigate the transition to adulthood. My focus includes addressing anxiety, fostering personal growth, and developing practical life skills.
Mentorship transformed my life, and I believe deeply in its power to do the same for others. I am committed to creating mentorship structures that foster genuine growth and lasting impact.
Recognizing the particular challenges facing young men today, I developed the Healthy Manhood program—an initiative designed to support young men in developing positive identities, emotional intelligence, and healthy relationships. The program creates safe spaces for young men to explore vulnerability, challenge harmful stereotypes, and develop authentic versions of themselves.
Through my blog, I have written extensively about the challenges confronting young men in contemporary society, exploring topics ranging from mental health and emotional development to education, employment, and social connection.
I currently serve as Chief Administrative Officer of a youth services nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive support to young adults. I oversee programs addressing housing stability, employment training and job placement, anxiety management, personal growth workshops, driver training, and other essential life skills. This role allows me to apply my personal experience, programmatic expertise, and strategic vision at an organizational level, ensuring our services are holistic, trauma-informed, and designed to meet young adults where they are while supporting them in fulfilling their aspirations.
